Parent-To- Parent

 Parent-To-Parent was established as an effort to motivate parental involvement in the public school system. The brainchild of Ms. Kathie Smith, Kat’s Touch,. LLC.  She felt something was missing from the PTA at her daughter school.  After observing and talking to teachers, parents and students, she realized  that we need to show our students the we truly cared if they succeed or fail in life. By getting parents, teachers and administration to work together and nurture the whole child—their hearts, bodies, souls and minds.  Going back to how it used to be when we all looked out for each other children. She decided to wake-up the parents and get them talking to each other and developed Parent-To-Parent’s concept of “WE”.

We changed to accommodate the internet. All the parent to parent name combinations were taken
