Goals

Our Goal:

 Our goal is to develop a unified front between Parents, Teachers, Students and Administration. To open up the lines of communication between parents in order to enrich students lives. In doing this we hope to show our children that we support, encourage and believe in them and want to make sure they stay in school.

Ø    Parent To Parent (PTP) is a forum for parents to talk to parents. We will be considerate and respectful of each other views. 

Ø    Parents will observe but not interfere with classroom activities.

Ø    Parents can only call parents who have signed permission forms authorizing us to call if we notice their child in a situation that may interfere with his or her ability to learn.

Ø    PTP should try and stimulate parents to join the PTA and take a more active role in their child’s education.

Ø    PTP members should always encourage and criticize constructively- This will develop a child’s self-confidence and pride.

Ø    PTP-should try to support the Teachers and Administration with students who are having problems focusing on school.

Ø     Note: Sometimes a parent will listen to another parent with an open mind.
