Dr. Tate:
I observed the most amazing thing this
morning ! I had walked down the hall to visit
with an 8th grade teacher. His name is Mr.
******. He is one of our more difficult
teachers. The glass is always half empty with
him. Anyway, I looked into his room this
morning, and I saw students all over the place.
They were in all four corners. I did not know
what to think because students do not get out of
their desks in Mr. ******'s room. My first
thought was that he had left the room. I finally
spotted him, however. He was in the midst of the
students teaching his heart out. You see, one
group of students were molecules, another group
was electrons and so forth. He was using one of
the strategies that you taught us. He was
helping students grow dendrites! When he saw me,
he said, " I am trying." I said, " I see that,
and I am impressed." I enjoyed your
presentation.
