This Black Woman will stand her ground

She knows that respect is not just a word—It’s a way of life

This Black Woman is going to make sure she’s treated right

This Black Woman shapes and molds the world

This Black Woman is an example for all Black girls

This Black Woman has been called outspoken

But this Black Woman is well spoken

This Black Woman puts fear into people’s heart

Because this Black Woman is the “Epitome of Love”

This Black Woman reaches back

She holds on to the memories from the past

She knows with each child she meets

It’s the opportunity to rewrite predicted history

This Black Woman – she is strong

She ain’t gonna tell you wrong

We’ve let too many Black children lose their way

If it were up to her… this would be the last day

This Black Woman don’t waste her time

She’ll set you straight –plus give you a big piece of her mind

She is Black by Nature -- Proud by Choice

She speaks intelligently with a Thunderous Voice

Always respect and cherish her

Because it’s this kind of Black Woman that’s gonna save us
